Nothing like starting a blog and then never blogging.......so let's try this again! It's such a quiet day today....the weather has been horrific....it's cold and feels a little too much like winter. That's what we get for living in Wisconsin! I've been knitting up a storm...trying out new patterns, revisiting some old patterns, looking at new yarns and drooling just a bit at the never ending array of beautiful fiber in the world.
I'm just recently feeling the impact of our sorry economy and wondering what the future will old. Our local economic problems are compounded by a Village Board and Chamber of Commerce who are decidely short sighted and unimaginative when it comes to problem solving. We live in such a pretty little town - I'm hoping that things will perk up here soon and we'll start seeing a community that is "the place to be" in Western Wisconsin. I'll keep you posted as ideas start to fly!
